  • 1340 Fairmont Street Cooperative: $100,000 construction loan for the rehabilitation and conversion of their apartments to condominiums.
  • Atlas Performing Arts Center: $40,000 operating support grant.
  • Brandywine Street Association: $30,000 recoverable grant and a $30,000 grant for efforts related to the development of the Brandywine Community Empowerment Center.
  • Building Bridges Across the RIver: $40,000 grant for operational support as development of THEARC continues.
  • Calvary Bilingual Multicultural Learning Center: $100,000 grant for creation of Infant and Toddler Center at Carlos Rosario Learning Center.
  • Dance Institute of Washington: $650,000 construction and mini-perm loan for their new Performing Arts and Childcare Center.
  • East of the River CDC: $50,000 and $38,000 operating support grants; a $600,000 acquisition loan for Dubois Garden Apartments; $1,000,000 construction loan for 21 new singlefamily homes; a $35,000 grant for a feasibility analysis on the Old Congress Heights Elementary School and the purchase of the Washington Gas Building on Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.
  • Fernwood Tenants Association: $558,620 acquisition loan, $6,000 interest write-down grant.
  • Gala Hispanic Theatre: $30,000 grant for capital campaign feasibility study.
  • H Street CDC: $100,000 predevelopment loan for development on vacant 1.27 acre parcel; $500,000 revolving loan for acquisition of properties.
  • Latin American Youth Center: $30,650 grant for operating support of the Art and Media House; $8,000 grant for urban garden materials.
  • Life Pieces to Masterpieces : $10,000 capacity building grant.
  • Manna, Inc. : $37,900 predevelopment recoverable grant for 1340 Fairmont Street and $4,000 capacity building grant.
  • Manna CDC: $95,000 capacity building grant; $65,000 recoverable grant and a $60,000 grant for predevelopment activities related to development of a site for a Department Store.
  • Mi Casa : $56,000 recoverable grant for predevelopment activities for the Covington Tenants Association; $25,000 grant for predevelopment activities related to 1372 Kenyon Street Property. Nation‘s Capitol Child and Family Development: $80,000 grant to help four child care centers earn the top accreditation rating as recognized by a national accreditation organization.
  • Nonprofit Finance Fund : $113, 913 in grants for operational support.
  • Northwest Settlement House: $50,000 grant for operational support as they seek to replace their current headquarters.
  • The Fishing School: $10,000 capacity building grant.
  • The Homeless Children’s Tutorial Project: $10,000 capacity building grant.
